Frequently Asked QuestionQ: What is the e-walk™? A: e-walk™ is a online tool available to all walkers who REGISTER ONLINE. Walkers can raise pledges by sending e-mails, having their own personal fundraising page, manage teams, track their fundraising goal and more. To e-walk™ click here.
Q: Can I use the donation form and the e-walk™ form both? A: You can, but if you are an e-Walker™, you can keep all your pledges in one spot. There is a way to upload donations that you receive verbally or by mail on your website under "offline donations". This is easier for you to track your goal, and ensures that none of your pledges get overlooked or duplicated. Q: Will the Pregnancy Center have my total for me on Walk Day if I am an e-Walker™? A: The Pregnancy Center will have a printout of the e-Walker™ and their donations on Walk day, however it will be current only as of the day before at around Q: How can I use e-walk™ to send e-mail requests for pledges? A: There are three ways to send messages and 3 customizable e-mail samples to choose from. You may type your email addresses into the address book provided, upload a CSV file or use your existing e-mail software like Outlook. Then you may choose from a general message, reminder message or funny message to send. Q: Can I edit the message that will be sent? A: Yes - you can craft your own message or use one of the provided templates we have for you. Q: What do I do when someone gives me a pledge verbally? A: Make sure all your donations are in one place by entering pledges given to you verbally, in writing or direct e-mails you received under the Donations "offline" donations. Q: How do I upload my picture to my personal page?
A: Place a jpeg or gif file on your computer, go to your edit personal page and click the "browse" button next to the photo caption. Select the photo you wish to upload and click upload! |
